Kris Hasa is an Associate with Frost & Fire Consulting. He earned his M.S. in Private Law at the University of Tirana and was awarded the Gold Medal for excellence. During his studies, Mr. Hasa focused on corporate governance and commercial transactions. He is admitted to practice in Albania and is a member of the Albanian Bar Association.
Mr. Hasa is certified by GIZ in the Law on Foreign Investments and Related Dispute Resolution Procedures. He studied renewable energy legislation and approximation of legislation concerning European Company Law. He has collaborated with M&M Ivanaj Foundations, offering trainings on the legal ramifications of force majeure events on small businesses.
At Frost & Fire Consulting, Mr. Hasa focuses on corporate matters including acquisitions and joint ventures, banking, securities, and concessions/PPP. His responsibilities include drafting and negotiating share transfer agreements, shareholder agreements and articles of organization; drafting various bank contracts (loan and collateral agreements); advising on concessions/PPP agreements; and conducting legal research on business transactions for local and international clients. He has also considerable experience with immovable property registration, analyzing and resolving issues of property law, including privatization of agricultural land and enterprises, restitution and compensation, and legalization of unauthorized buildings.
Furthermore, Mr. Hasa is a researcher and contributor to the doctrine of Albanian private law, authoring several published legal journal articles. His publications include research on financial transactions and dispute resolution.
